JACKSON, Miss. () – People in the Mississippi capital are said to be expecting street closures in the city center and explosions for the filming of an action film starring Bruce Willis.
A film about the bank’s robbery was shot in Jackson this month called “Day of Death.” Willis filmed scenes in several places, including a street outside the governor’s residence.
The Downtown Jackson Partners business group, which is trying to keep the area safe and clean, said in a Friday newsletter that action scenes with special effects and explosions are to be filmed on Monday and Tuesday near the castle.
Willis, 66, starred in “Die Hard,” “Pulp Fiction,” and “The Sixth Sense.”
