DeSarno said that domestic terrorists are challenging the authorities because of the number of people involved.
A FBI official said they had diverted resources to the FBI-Dallas office to focus on domestic terrorists.
“Many of those arrested are not marginalized. “They are the mainstream of society,” said De Sarno. “They became so radicalized that they mobilized and committed federal crimes.”
As of Friday, DeSarno noted government և media remain a target for people who are inspired to use violence.
