Ben was a wonderful host with a beautiful, large, very comfortably furnished room in a great neighborhood. I could not ask for more about an Airbnb stay. A great recreation for me was a fantastic bike and hiking trail that connects miles of trails along forest, swamp, streams and a river. It is also very easy to drive to the center of Raleigh for all it has to offer and nice to return to a quiet, peaceful neighborhood at night. – Alvah

I loved my stay at The Modern Suite. Fast communication, easy parking, good check-in including photo instructions. The neighborhood is very quiet but still close to things to do. It’s true that you can hear some noises from the main house, but nothing that disturbed me. Honestly, as a woman traveling alone, I like the reassurance of knowing that someone was close. An added bonus was all the little unexpected details including the motion sensor lights at night and toiletries in case you forgot. Highly recommend. – Linda

Sans Souci sustainable private suite
3 guests · 1 bedroom · 1 bed · 1 bath
This is an entire home built to be as sustainable as it can be. It includes a 7 Kilowatt solar panel, has a tank that works with the smallest possible amount of water and windows with “low emissivity”.
It offers all the facilities and space one could wish for (even a sound system and a pool!). Unfortunately, it is not a stand-alone unit and does not have an oven / stove, which would be contrary to city rules.
Ben was really responsive and helpful in booking my stay. I had planned last minute and the place was really well kept and quaint. The games room has great natural light and the space is really inviting. If you are unsure which place to book, ben is a no brainer. – Tim
