In the announcement The Federal Bureau of Investigation claimed that the suspects, all the men attacked Mike Fanone, a police officer at the Washington Metropolitan Police Department, after breaking into the Capitol building.
The case is one of more than 300 that authorities are still investigating in connection with the January 6 uprising, a law enforcement official said Sunday. Seventy-four people have been charged with federal crimes in the Supreme Court in Washington, DC, including 42 people.

Fanone told NBC Washington that he suffered a mild heart attack during the riots after repeatedly hitting a stunning gun and beating it with a flag depicting police images.
During the alleged attack, Fanone said the insurgents had taken his badge, a radio magazine with ammunition.
“The boys were trying to grab my weapon,” he told the station. “They were shouting, ‘Kill him with his weapon.'”
Another officer, Christina Lori, told NBC Washington that the rioters were attacking officers with a bear spray, metal rods, “everything, everything” to try to enter the building.
Fanone said that after she started shouting that she had children, some in the group helped her get to safety.
“Thanks to the people who helped me,” he told NBC Washington. “But why are you there?”
Five people were killed in the riots, including Brian Siknik, a U.S. Capitol police officer.
