LOS ANGELES – Three of the four stars of the popular HBO series “Sex and the City” will reunite for a new show that appears with the same characters about two decades older, the network announced on Sunday.

The new ten episodes, a half-hour series, will air on HBO Max, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis in roles they celebrated in the late 1990s and early 2000s, according to the network.

The show will be titled “And Exactly,” and production will begin in late spring, HBO said.

“I grew up with these characters and can’t wait to see how their story evolved in this new chapter, with the sincerity, poignancy, humor and beloved city that always defined them,” Sarah Aubrey, host of the original content on HBO Max, said in a statement. announcing a new series.

The network did not announce why Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in the movie “Sex and the City”, did not play a role in the new production.
