TSR Updatez: There’s a good chance Bobby Shmurda will get out of jail a month before his start release date, after Monday revealed that a conditional release date had been set for next month!
The Shade Room was able to confirm New York’s state corrective records, which reveal conditional release for Bobby, which was set for February 23.
This is definitely good news for Bobby Shmurda fans after it was announced at the end of 2020 that he had been denied parole several times. Its initial release date was set for December 21, 2021.
Bobby has been behind bars for six years, but the sound is that if all goes well, he won’t have to wait much longer.
It’s understandable why fans are skeptical of the news that they’ve got their hopes a few times, but assuming everything goes smoothly and Bobby stays smoothly, he should come out through these gates before you realize it.
Bobby Shmurda went to the parole commission in September, hoping that his sixth year in prison would be his last. As we have informed, his request for parole was unfortunately rejected and at the end of December we found out why.
According to a transcript from Bobby’s hearing obtained TMZ, board members said Bobby had violated “several times” in prison, including alleged posture, combat and drug possession – but Shmurda allegedly claimed he had changed and was ready to put his life back on track.
Bobby reportedly told the board that although he wants to pursue a music career after the release, he also intends to help his community through problematic youth information programs. The documents also show that Bobby told the board that he now considered himself a “leader” rather than a follower.
Bobby also says he wants to get high school when he quits.
Bobby was sentenced to seven years for conspiracy to own weapons and own a gun.
Before encountering these legal difficulties, Bobby and the rest of the GS9 crew changed the New York music scene forever by introducing what the city now knows as drilled music. Let us hope that, after his release, he will be able to establish himself in this sector.
