Hi Gareth, my brother, I think he told you about his situation and said I should write to you about how it happened.
Back in October, the company I worked for introduced a new health and safety policy that required all employees to wear a face mask / visor, although none had a positive PCR test since the start of this whole plandemic and the level of people with positive tests the area I live in was very low and still is.
I had already asked if this would happen because rumors had surfaced, but they said no, but then a week or so later on Friday a notice arrived that from Monday everyone had somewhere to protect their face and so I went to a health and safety counselor he showed him my exemption and told him I couldn’t wear it and he and his boss refused my card telling me it was only for public spaces and telling me to come on Monday dressed or I would be sent home so they didn’t come in for two days and after playing ping pon E-mails with HR came back on Wednesday without wearing it and he was there only ten minutes before he was suspended and put under investigation for endangering any other body, which is stupid because they all sit in the same canteen and use the same kitchen and vending machines, and all the smokers stand in the same shelter close to each other, again
They offered me alternative types of masks / visors, but in my opinion they are all the same, followed by several e-mails and an offer to talk to a therapist why I could not wear the one I refused, and then I was invited to a disciplinary meeting where I was offered opportunity to go back to work with a mask I said I can’t, so they fired me 13/11, I talked to a lawyer about the unfair dismissal, but he said it would be very difficult without a medical reason, whatever that means, no one is clear defined what it was, so after 39 years of loyalty I was fired because I couldn’t cover my face eight hours a day. When I started working in 1981, it was not the same company that was taken over by a large Swiss company about five or six years ago.
