Tiger Woods and Lindsay Vaughn have decided to separate after nearly three years of dating.
The former world number one golfer and Olympic ski champion have blamed pressure on their busy schedules for the split.
Lindsay Vaughn said on Facebook that the decision was mutual.
In a statement on his website, Tiger Woods said he would “always appreciate our time together.”
Tiger Woods and Lindsay Vaughn first publicly announced they were the subject in March 2013 after weeks of speculation.
“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I decided to end our relationship.” Lindsay Vaughn, 30, said on her Facebook page.
“I will always keep the memories we have created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly fast-paced lives, forcing us to spend most of our time apart.
“He and his beautiful family will always have a special place in my heart.”
The couple was last seen in public at last month’s Masters Golf Tour, where Lincy Vaughn was with Tiger Woods’ 7-year-old daughter Sam and Charlie’s 6-year-old son.
Tiger Woods, 39, said in a statement: “I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsay and I will always appreciate our time together. She was amazing with Sam and Charlie and my whole family.
“Unfortunately, we lead a very fast life and we both compete in demanding sports. It’s hard to spend time together. “
Tiger Woods was previously married to Swedish model Elin Nordegren, but they divorced in 2010 after it became clear that the golfer had a series of extramarital affairs.
