A British Airways teenage flight attendant became pregnant with a married pilot after the airline launched the Embrace Pilot program.
British Airways has launched a program to boost cabin crew morale by encouraging them to mix more.
The initiative – called “Pilot’s Embrace” – was taken to extremes by the married man and the flight attendant on a foreign stopover between flights.
The pilot’s wife is also believed to be a British Airways employee, but is apparently next to him, The sun reports.
The flight attendant, based at Terminal 5 in Heathrow, has already been relocated to a regional engineering base. She plans to keep the baby.
When the pilot, who earns £ 100,000 a year, discovers that the young employee is pregnant, he apparently denies having anything to do with him, but later admits.
A British Airways spokesman declined to comment.
The pilot and his wife are also at Terminal 5.
A source from the airline said The sun: “The girl’s pregnancy and her transition to engineering are the conversations of the airline. She was stunned to find that she was expecting but wanted to keep the baby.
“It will be considered financially because of the captain’s salary.”
Employee of British Airways 3000 pilots and 13,500 cabin crew.

“The session includes pre-, during-flight and post-flight interaction, you will now be advised that it is inappropriate and rude not to involve all of the crew and pilots while communicating at the bar or on the route.
After pregnancy, the source speaks The sun, added: “The hug and pilot decree shouldn’t have led to that.”
